1. To fetch the data In DB

2. Click on the edit icon of the particular step, click on Assertion Target and select In DB in the dropdown.

3. Specify the data that you want to Assert by writing a valid query for that database. The system will only accept select queries.

Setup: Need to be an admin user
1. Admin page > Properties > Edit Customer Database Property

2. Select product and DB Type

3. Enter the db url – The DB needs to be accessible from the Nogrunt server (if your database is behind a firewall, most likley it will need network ports to be opened)

4. Enter Username and Password

5. Submit

Sample data to setup DB in Admin Page :
Product – Product 1
DB Type – MySQL
DB Url – jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/cta
Username – xyz
Password – 1234

Sample SQL Query – select productname from cta.products where idproducts = 1
