Browser Setup

  1. If browser setup fails for any reason – the test will be aborted
  2. From the execution grid
    1. Retrieve the total thread capacity of the environment
    2. Retrieve current threads being used
    3. If current threads >= total thread capacity – wait 5s and try again – total 3 attempts
    4. If number of currently active threads is greater than parallel threads subscribed for – abort test
  • If merge co pilot option chosen – start chrome with extension loaded
  1. If apicapture flag is true → find a free port for debugging purposes
  2. Then set browser capabilities –
    1. audio/video
    2. Headless
    3. Port
    4. profile/incognito – incognito is the default
    5. StealthMode
  3. Set a download dir for the session
  • Start execution
